I write children's nonfiction, travel guidebooks and freelance articles for magazines.

My start in book writing began more than a decade ago when John Muir, now Avalon Travel Publishing, printed my first travel guide, Ohio Travel Smart. Since then I’ve gone on to write several more travel guides and more than 16 children’s books, in the genre of picture books.
